Parade of rain

No clouds lurking in my forecast
A beautiful day with clear skies, is that too much to ask?
Why can't I smile? Why can't I have love too?
Unfortunately it's just the way it is...so miserable.
No clouds lurking in my forecast
A beautiful day, blue skies
Is that too much to ask?
Why can't I smile? Why can't I have love too?
Unfortunately it's just the way it is...so miserable.
When I was a kid
I never knew this world was racist
Until I hit 16
The older crowd told me to face it
Wish I could, take all the evil out and replace it
With tender love and care
So every boy and girl amongst us could embrace it
Unfortunately, I lived a jagged life
Morning and nights under the street lights
Unaware if this was wrong or right
Please, somebody notice me.
Look!
I'm without a dollar in my pocket
Dissatisfied, releasing cries
Wishing I had the finance to provide for my unborn baby
Silver and gold
What's to behold?
In this life nothing is new to me
Serpents are lurking and looking to leave you blue indeed
Why change your features,
It only covers what still remains
I see your pain
Don't hide; dry your eyes
It’s only pouring rain
Now, what's the outlook for the coming week?
Sunny, rainfalls, or Cloudy…
Because from this distance it's so hard to see
Vision is blurry. Need assistance. SOS hurry!!
I'll be lying if I told you I'm not worried. Black life…

No clouds lurking in my forecast
A beautiful day with clear skies, is that too much to ask?
Why can't I smile? Why can't I have love too?
Unfortunately it's just the way it is...so miserable.
